Chemical Peels
A chemical solution that is applied to the skin which causes the dead skin to slough off and eventually peel off. The new skin is smoother and less wrinkled than the old skin. This prodedure can be performed on the face, chest, hands, arms and legs. It can help lighten sun spots, age spots, liver spots, freckles, and blotchiness resulting from various things such as birth control pills. Chemical peels can also be used to improve the appearance of mild scarring and treat certain types of acne.
